The ledger
Checking a receipt
Match the request, output and payment records without treating any one of them as proof of correct computation.
Match the request
- Check receipt version and job ID against the original quote.
- Compare service, provider and input hash against the approved request.
- Read status and timestamps from the provider adapter, not a local animation.
Check the output reference
Fetch the output from the recorded reference and, if a digest is present, compute the digest of the exact bytes using the documented algorithm. A matching hash establishes byte identity relative to that record, not output quality.
Check payment separately
For a live payment, inspect the successful finalized Solana transaction against the configured cluster, USDC mint, token program, recipient and exact quoted amount. Match the adapter's quote reference and confirm that the payment belongs to this persisted job and has not been reused.
The demo has no transaction to check. The interface must not fabricate a signature or a successful settlement.
Know the remaining trust
Provider logs and signatures are attributable statements when their signing key is authenticated. They do not establish correct execution by themselves. Independent recomputation, validation tests or a separately specified proof system would be additional evidence.
